The name DJ Nick Cohen pops up quite frequently among a certain hipster crowd in New York. That would be the young privileged few that like Nick may have been reared on the Upper East side, but have since branched out to say, all the artsy, indie type areas of the city. Currently, Mr. Cohen's residencies include spinning at the coveted 1 Oak, Upstairs, Beatrice Inn, Bungalow 8, and Marquee, among others. While corporate clients are increasing in droves and include: Sotheby's, Red Bull, GQ, Alice & Olivia, Blue & Cream, etc. Advice for up and coming DJs is to be humble, focus on the room you are in, be confident and don't be afraid to take chances when you play...
